Home

Late Monday night, I finally came home.
Wish I could say I was feeling better,
but the truth is Upenn could not figure out what is causing my daily fevers, or other side effects.

For now, I'm home in bed, with home infusion care helping with fluids
and good home cooking.

Next Goal: Recovery

Glad your back in your own surroundings.
Rest, rest, rest... you know... that thing you haven't done in sooooooo many years.
I'm to tell you that I'm sending you wishes of "refuah sh’lemah"... I hope that isn't swearing :-)

Loving you loads.

Great to hear you're home! Sucks to hear you're still feeling lousy. Maybe just being at home will be the medicine you need.

Really sorry you've had to go through all this and hoping you're back on your feet quick.

Hoping you're getting your good food on too ;)

Take the best of care,

Love and hugs,
Chris

rest and recover, what ever it is that is causing the fevers/vomiting will hopefully go away as you get well again. I agree with your saha theory, as we all know some drugs are harder on our bodies then we understand at first. hydrate, gain some weight back, get strong mentally and physically. I hope knowing that you have lots of people there who love and care for you, even people you never met helps with you getting back on your feet again... Im sure being home will help lots and lots with that also makse some fun as we all know how unfun the hosital can be... :)
lots of healing loving thoughts of the highest order going your way every day!!!!!!!!!

been thinking about you a LOT. glad you're home--hopefully it will make all the difference. when i was running lots of fevers that they couldn't identify my personal interpretation was that my body was just "really pissed." hopefully some non-hospital food and your own bed will be the answer.

lots of love

Dear Bekah - Glad to hear you pulled through and you're getting some R&R. We've been praying for you everyday and a priest friend of mine has been including prayers for you in his daily mass. I hope you're feeling all the prayers and support from everyone.

Blessings,
Isabelle

I'm glad you are home, but I wish the hospital had gotten an understanding of your fevers. The advantage of a teaching hospital is that there are a lot of doctors, and the more eyes that see you the more likely someone will know what's going on. But it sounds like "reaction to SAHA" is a fairly likely guess - unless the fevers don't subside. Doctors like to compete with each other sometimes, and if you bring in a new doctor, and tell her what your regular doctors think, the first thing the new doctor will ask herself is "What could they have missed?" Please watch yourself closely for new symptoms too. I'm thinking and aiming thoughts of "STRENGTH" right at you. Get strong.

But you must be 'better' enough for them to let you out of hospital! So, just carry on getting better with the comfort of home cooking and support and surroundings ... :)

Hi my friend...hope you are feeling much better now that you've been home in your own bed and have been eating some great home-cooking (all made with high calories of love of course). Thinking of you often and, as always, sending lots of loving ((HUGS)).
